Biggest snail ever, about half of my foot.
I hope residents in the above facility do not throw stones. I took another trip to Lodi Gardens a few weeks ago, this time on a Sunday evening rather than in the oppressively hot middle of the day. It was crowded and really resembled Central Park, although slightly more tropical and idyllic--the diversity! Sikhs, Muslims, and Hindus, side by side, holding hands and frollicking. Many power walkers and joggers. Then a couple Thursdays ago was the demonstration to get a bill passed reserving 33% of a house of parliament ("lokh sabah"?) for womenfolk. Okay, so I was only there for 20 minutes or so due to the heat and a desire to go to Subway, but it was still cool to see. The sign I'm holding says something along the lines of, "We've set our sights on a goal and have begun taking steps towards it; thus, we must continue taking these steps and shall not rest until we have achieved this goal, indubitably."
Coolest port-a-potty ever.
Disillusioned with the cause.
